Job description

We have an exciting opportunity for a Accounts Receivable Process Co-ordinator to join an integral part of the business in our Major / Key Accounts Team in the Finance Shared Service Centre on a Hybrid working model, in Manchester, Trafford Park working in a Hybrid way.

As Accounts Receivable Process Co-ordinator you will take responsibility for collecting outstanding debt from our partners that trade with HSS Hire. You will have your own portfolio of customers and will work towards maximising cash collections.​​​​​​​

Hybrid Working

We are currently operating a hybrid working model, giving you that true work life balance, and you can discuss the detail of the working pattern options for this role with the hiring manager. Our head office in Trafford Park, Manchester, has all the modern facilities; collaborative break out areas, on-site café, on-site gym, and on-site parking!​​​​​​​

What will you do?

  • You will contact customers regarding their outstanding debt
  • Works within defined processes, liaising with operational teams as appropriate, to deliver effective and efficient support
  • Provide high quality customer and stakeholder service that places that customer at the heart of all we do
  • Ensures that up-to-date records are maintained of every enquiry, allowing others to accurately understand the status and historical activity
  • Monitor and manage customer accounts to ensure timely and accurate payment of outstanding invoices
  • Review and reconcile customer accounts
  • Contact customers via phone, email, or other communication channels to collect outstanding payments
  • Resolve billing discrepancies or disputes by investigating and coordinating with internal teams and customers
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of customer interactions, payment status, and collection efforts
  • You will have the ability to identify potential problem accounts, recommending accounts to be halted
  • Provide scheduled feedback on workload prioritisation to team management
  • You will represent the company and our values of the business, remaining professional with all customers, potential customers, and other people you meet in the course of your work
