What you'll be doing:
- Working with Wholesale and other stock teams to collect all information needed to calculate AR invoices (order amounts, discount rates, contractual terms, etc.)
- Issue invoices and statements to Wholesale partners in a timely manner and reconcile invoices raised to order schedules.
- Performing credit checks and setting up new Wholesale customers in Dynamics
- Credit control and debt collection
- Handling Wholesale partner queries and escalating when necessary
- Work with the business to ensure correct and accurate AR accounting, including controls, accruals required, accurate balance sheet reconciliations and ensure data integrity of information
- Understand the business processes, including related risks and controls
- Ensure correct accounting treatment in accordance with IFRS, being pro-active to review and challenge
- Produce timely, accurate and insightful reporting and analysis
- Ad hoc analysis and scenario modelling to inform business decision making
- Ensure appropriate and robust financial control environment, spanning from the posting of journals to assisting with supporting documentation for the external audit
We’d love to meet someone with…
- Experience in Accounts Receivable management and credit control
- Ability to plan and prioritise own workload to meet tight deadlines.
- Good Excel skills and analytical skills.
- A high standard of accuracy with financial and statistical data.
- Commercial awareness.
- Good communication/ interpersonal and influencing skills.
- The ability to be proactive within a fast-paced, dynamic environment susceptible to change
