We are looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist to support our day-to-day transactions, responsibilities include processing payments, maintaining cost reports, and managing invoices Ultimately, you’ll help maintain our company’s financial health and make sure we use our resources beneficially.

Roles and Responsibilities
- Raising and processing purchase invoices on the company’s accounting system
- Digital filing of receipts and purchase invoices
- Ensuring authorisation and coding of invoices in line with company coding structure
- Checking and updating ledger balances
- Statement reconciliation
- Ability to work across all companies.
- Undertaking other finance administrative tasks and general support to the Finance Manager as required
- Participate in quarterly and annual audits
- Complying with company policies
- Working for the benefit of the whole organisation
Person Specification
- Excellent people skills and good written and verbal communication skills
- Professional experience of general administrative and finance tasks
- High level of numeracy and financial awareness
- A high level of computer literacy and knowledge of IT systems, including Microsoft Excel
- Ability to work independently, flexibly and to use own initiative to solve problems proactively
- Organised and methodical with excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to manage workloads, prioritise and work to deadlines
- Ability to work with complete confidentiality
- Ability to work as part of a small team
- Attention to detail, with an ability to spot numerical errors
- Excellent maths knowledge.
- The ability to use their own initiative.
