Accounts Payable | Hybrid working | £45,000

12-month contract

Our client is a fast-growth financial services firm with a great company culture and excellent career opportunities.

They are urgently looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Officer within the Finance team. This role will report directly to the Finance Manager and will be responsible for the timely, accurate and efficient processing of supplier documentation (invoices, credit notes, expense claims), timely payment of suppliers along with updating the ledger for all payments.

The role involves:

  • Prepares and processes daily/weekly pay runs ensuring that they are processed in a timely manner for all relevant Group entities;
  • Reconciliation of all accounts within areas of responsibility;
  • Processes all employee expense claims in a timely manner;
  • Participate in ad hoc duties + projects as they present within the team;
  • Liaise with staff across the organisation regarding supplier service and invoice payment requests; and

Ensuring sufficient liquidity in operational accounts for payments liaising with other finance and investment colleagues

The ideal candidate will have

  • 3+ years relevant Accounts Payable experience, ideally in an international professional services firm
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office; in particular Excel (ADVANCED
  • Be self-motivated and highly organised, with the ability to multi-task and prioritise work;
  • Be efficient, with excellent attention to detail;
  • Work well as part of a team;
  • Proficiency in Dynamics 365 accounts would be an advantage.
