Accounts Payable Manager
We currently have a vacancy for an Accounts Payable Manager based out of Aston Cross, Birmingham, reporting into our Finance Director as part of the Finance Team.
As Accounts Payable Manager, you will manage the accounts payable functions across both ATS Euromaster and Tructyre to maximise effectiveness and precision.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Management and development of a team of AP Team Members, some of whom work remotely. (7 in the team)
- Management of the relationship with, and coordination of, our offshore outsource service provider for AP transactional activities.
- UK process owner for Accounts Payable processes and systems including management of and migration of suppliers to EDI.
- Management of the creditor’s ledger for both ATSE and Tructyre, ensuring all balances are reconciled with the supplier statements.
- Management of GRNI accrual to ensure only valid assets and liabilities are included at all times.
- Management of resale invoice matching process, the non-resale PO system in Tructyre and the ATSE authorisation system.
- Investigation and resolution of debit balances.
- Supplier statement reconciliation and account management of key supplier accounts.
The ideal candidate for this role will have significant experience in an Accounts Payable role with responsibility for a full resale and non-resale creditor ledger. With experience of working with multiple locations, you will have the ability to plan and collaborate across all levels of the business. You will be a problem solver with good leadership skills and have the ability to drive and motivate a team to delivery high quality output in line with set priorities. With outstanding communication skills and interpersonal skills, this role will suit someone who is happy to role their sleeves up and make a difference. Experience of managing a Finance system change is desirable but not essential.
Please note that whilst the role is contractually based from our head office in Aston, Birmingham, there is a hybrid working arrangement in place, 2 days a week in the office.
