Job Duties
- Maintaining records, files, databases, and financial software to include the Works Small Purchase Credit Card (SPCC) program.
- Utilize the Electronic Virginia (eVa) procurement system as necessary to conduct Commonwealth procurement to generate orders for goods and services.
- Obtain quotes on materials and services.
- Reconcile transactions.
- Prepare purchase requisitions.
- Process invoices for payment.
- Maintain monthly budget reports and correspondence using word processing equipment.
- Maintain inventory of first aid supplies.
- Perform data entry into MS Access database.
- Act as a backup for the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
Minimum Qualifications
- Applicant should possess excellent interpersonal, verbal, written and communication skills.
- Proficiency in computer software and accounting procedures.
- Experience with the Electronic Virginia (eVA) procurement system.
- Problem solving skills.
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- High School Graduate or GED preferred.
- Experience with the Electronic Virginia (eVA) system for procuring goods and services preferred.
