Job description
The Accounts Payable Coordinator is responsible for ensuring our vendors are paid on a weekly basis. This person will need to be able to communicate with the construction managers and vendors efficiently. They will be involved in responding to inquiries from the vendors regarding payment and investigating past due invoices/invoice discrepancies. The Accounts Payable Coordinator will report directly to the Assistant Controller
ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Handling payments in an organized and timely manner.
- Review invoices for proper approval/coding and inputting approved invoices for payment.
- Research and resolve PO/invoice discrepancies and issues.
- Communicate with vendors and construction managers and respond to inquiries.
- Reconcile 1099s with payments and verify federal tax Id information is correct for vendors.
- Performs other projects and related duties as assigned.
