About Our Client

My client is a leading company within the renewable energy industry who are growing rapidly and are looking to recruit an experienced accounts payable clerk to join their team on a temporary basis. The client is based in the City of London and offer hybrid working arrangements.

Job Description

As the Accounts Payable Assistant your responsibilities will include:

• Weekly bank reconciliations
• VAT returns
• Handling Supplier Queries e.g. payment queries/ reconciling statements
• Management of weekly payment run
• Reconciling approved credit card statements
• Assist with the month end processes including AP
• Preparation of journals and accruals
• Balance sheet reconciliations

The Successful Applicant

The successful Accounts Payable Assistant will have:

• Availability with a short notice
• 3 years+ in a previous Accounts Payable role
• Strong excel skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience with dynamics 365 is desirable
