About Our Client
My client is a leading company within the renewable energy industry who are growing rapidly and are looking to recruit an experienced accounts payable clerk to join their team on a temporary basis. The client is based in the City of London and offer hybrid working arrangements.
Job Description
As the Accounts Payable Assistant your responsibilities will include:
- Weekly bank reconciliations
- VAT returns
- Handling Supplier Queries e.g. payment queries/ reconciling statements
- Management of weekly payment run
- Reconciling approved credit card statements
- Assist with the month end processes including AP
- Preparation of journals and accruals
- Balance sheet reconciliations
The Successful Applicant
The successful Accounts Payable Assistant will have:
- Availability with a short notice
- 3 years+ in a previous Accounts Payable role
- Strong excel skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with dynamics 365 is desirable
