Overview:
Our client, a specialist in the professional services sector is looking to hire an experienced contractor to assist them with an exciting transformation project within their accounts payable function. Having attained significant growth over recent years, it has recently become evident that the account payable function needs to be assessed and essentially overhauled with immediate effect. This opportunity presents someone with the chance to take responsibility for and manage the project in its entirety, ultimately as a subject matter expert the client will be guided by you and give you the space to make pivotal business decisions.
Ideally you will be:
- Someone with significant experience of all aspects of accounts payable with an in-depth understanding of what drives a successful function.
- Someone with a proven track record in being able to successfully manage and improve the performance of an accounts payable team.
- Capable of redesigning a workflow followed by being able to document and deliver the required training to your team.
- An upbeat and high-energy character, this role will require someone who is prepared to get involved at a ground level and inspire the existing team.
In return, you will be:
- Able to start immediately and be guaranteed a minimum of six months employment.
- Afforded full operational control for the project and therefore be able to make key strategic decisions throughout the assignment.
