The Opportunity:
Reporting to the Accounts Payable Manager, the Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible for the full cycle AP process, invoicing, validation, coding, approval and posting. We are currently seeking candidates for the position of Accounts Payable Specialist. This position is full-time and is located in the Memorial City area of Houston, TX.

Responsibilities:
- Execute the full cycle AP process for invoicing to include invoice ingestion, validation, processing, coding, approval, and posting
- Professionally work with the various departments to gain required information to research, process, and code invoices
- Perform day to day management of all payment cycle activities and provide world class customer service
- Track, process, and reconcile payments and expenditures to include: purchase orders, invoices, statements, checks, refund requisitions etc, in compliance with all policies and procedures
- Regularly provide ad-hoc reporting as requested by management
- Continuously search for ways to improve the end-to-end AP processes
Requirements:
- Must have excellent data entry skills
- Good computer skills necessary
- Demonstrated ability to learn multiple ERP’s
- Must be able to multi-task
- Strong administrative and organizational skills
- Proven working experience in an Accounting/Finance office
- Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and Accounts Payable principles
- Familiarity with Vendor Master and W9 preferred
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Preferred: AS degree or higher in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and direction in a dynamic work environment
- Must be very comfortable learning and utilizing new system applications
