JOB TITLE: Accounts Payable Assistant
LOCATION: Ruislip/ Hounslow, London
REPORTING TO: Accounts Payable Manager
SHIFT PATTERN: 9 am -5.30 pm, 40 hours per week
SALARY: Competitive
OVERVIEW OF JOB DESCRIPTION
The role will support the Accounts Payable Manager and forms an integral part of the Finance Team playing a pivotal role in meeting tight month end deadlines and supporting the responsibility of the day-to-day management of the Accounts Payable function.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
- Processing of high-volume purchase invoices, scanning and entering details on a in house system.
- Checking invoices for coding and matching to purchase order information.
- Running reports into excel and reconciling data from two systems.
- Reconciling Supplier statements and managing supplier queries
- Working with internal and external stakeholders to resolve invoice and purchase order queries.
- Providing assistance with month end duties.
- Managing telephone calls.
Experience & Core Skills:
Working under tight deadlines
Have a strong eye for detail and accuracy of output
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal
Flexible to meet ad hoc requests
Good Microsoft Excel skills
Excellent record keeping skills
