Filmbankmedia distributes both blockbuster Feature Films as well as award winning episodic TV content to a variety of commercial markets.
Your New Role...
The Accounts Payable Assistant supports the Finance team with all aspects of Accounts Payable for the business unit as well as supporting the monthly management accounting requirements of the company.
Your Role Accountabilities...
- Allocation of payments in accordance with customer remittances into accounting system and resolving payment related queries.
- Liaising with suppliers & resolving queries.
- Responsibility for creating and updating supplier master data.
- Code & send invoices for approval.
- Preparation of monthly journals (Deposits, WHT, Bank Charges).
- Review of Accounts Payable balance sheet accounts and open item resolution for bank accounts.
- Quarterly intercompany reconciliations
- Monthly preparation & distribution of royalties to licensors.
- Involvement in new finance system scope & delivery.
- Assist in preparation and review of costs areas for the annual budget.
- Assist with preparation of materials required for annual audits.
- Ad-hoc finance queries and projects.
Qualifications & Experience...
- Accounts Payable experience, preferably within a related industry.
- Experience of working with an accounting system.
- Working with commercial and non-commercial stakeholders.
- Responsible, organised and proactive.
- High degree of numeracy with exceptional attention to detail.
- SAP systems experience desirable.
- Strong Microsoft office skills, in particular advanced knowledge of MS Excel.
- Ability to work within a team and be a self-starter with good autonomy.
- Excellent time management in a time pressured environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
