OES is a leading international specialist of third-party inspection, audit, appraisal, certification and project services to the oil and gas industry who are currently experiencing rapid growth.
The Opportunity
We are currently recruiting Accounts Assistant to be based in the Stockton Office on a full-time basis. Working hours will be 9:00 AM until 05:00 PM
Responsibilities:
Managing and Maintaining purchase ledger
- Inputting purchase invoices
- PO Matching, checking, and coding of invoices
Expenses
Managing and Maintaining sales ledger
- Final costings
- PO Amendments
- Weekly invoicing meetings with ops
- Sales Invoices
- Credit Control
Bank Reconciliations
VAT Returns
Helping Management Accountant with month end procedures
Answering all incoming calls and emails into the accounts department
Requirements and skills
- AAT or equivalent (desirable)
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience
- A good understanding of Sage 50
- Knowledge of Microsoft Products
- Must have UK residency or work permit
Working hours and Benefits:
- 35 hours a week, Monday to Friday to be worked between 8.00am – 5.00pm
- 1 hour dinner break
- 24 days holiday + statutory holidays (plus 1 additional day up to a maximum of 29 per year for each full calendar year of employment)
