Job description
A part time Accounts Assistant is required for a company in the Bradley area of Huddersfield in HD2. This role is a support role to the accountant, looking after ledgers, credit control, banking and reconciliation.
As Accounts Assistant in a team of 4, you will manage your own work load accountable for specific ledgers, whilst working as a team on project reconciliations and Excel reporting.
Duties will include:
- Process of invoices to the appropriate ledger on Excel and on a bespoke software in two currencies
- Reconciling of banking payments to accounts
- Preparation of monthly payments and immediate transactions for urgent vehicle requirements
- Basic analysis on Excel and update of supplier lead times
- Fuel invoice management
You will be:
- Experienced in ledger processing ideally both sales and purchasing
- Confident in Excel data entry, basic formula and reconciling
- A great communicator to talk with dealerships and suppliers through to customers and colleagues
- Able to assist in basic credit control
- Looking for a permanent and part time career
