Main purpose and objective of the role
The Air China London Office is currently seeking an Accounts Assistant to support our accounting and financial operations. The Accounts Assistant will report to the Finance Manager and will be responsible for assisting with accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, finance report, ticket management, asset equipment management and other financial duties.
Key responsibilities
- Banking
Responsible for the management of bank accounts, allocate funds under the authorization of the financial manager. Responsible for the management of cheques, make bank payment for bills reviewed.
- Cashing
Responsible for the calculation and payment of employees’ salary, insurance and taxes. Calculate the backup funds according to the daily expenses, responsible for reimbursement of daily expenses after approval by the financial manager.
- Expense review and payment
Review and pay bills accurately.
- Accounting
Provide account processing and auditing for revenue and expenditure, provide financial data for the financial manager.
- Asset equipment management
Set up asset equipment accounts, make inventories and update.
- Ticket Review
Responsible for the preparation of the sales review and summary sales report in accordance with the sales management regulations, ensure the accuracy and completeness of sales revenue.
- Blank ticket management
Responsible for the application, distribution and arrangement of the blank ticket.
- Filing
Collect and custody financial files to ensure that the financial files are complete and convenient to check.
Requirements
- Proficiency in English and Mandarin, inclusive listening, speaking, reading and writing skills
- Computer literate including Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook
- Bachelor's degree or above, or equivalent degree, Certification in an Accounting and Finance field is an advantage
- Relevant working experience will be preferable
- Solid communication and interpersonal skills
- A high degree of organisational skills to cope with a high-demand workload
- Basic administration skills
- Friendly, helpful, confident and engaging personality
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced commercial environment essential
