Furnished Homes is a family run contract furniture company which has been established for over 25 years.
Are you passionate about accuracy and attention to detail? Are you a process champion? Do you have previous experience working in an Accounts or Finance team? You will be an expert in all things finance, with good initiative and the ability to solve problems. You will have ability to build effective relationships with suppliers and creditors and will be responsible for assisting with core operational finance processes.
This position is work from home or from our head office in Yate. You must be able to easily commute to our head office for occasional team working days
We offer a flexible approach to your working hours - between 7am and 5pm.
The right candidate will be made permanent after an initial 3 month probation period.
What you will be doing
Full Accounts Payable function – to include
- processing of PO & non-PO purchase ledger invoices
- authorising & matching bills, account reconciliations, supplier payment runs, managing central email inbox
- Providing exceptional customer service
- Any other ad-hoc tasks needed to support the Finance team
What we need from you
· At least 2 years previous experience in a similar role
· Experience of Microsoft Dynamics preferred but not essential.
· A positive approach and can-do attitude with the willingness to learn.
· Ideally a minimum of AAT level 2, however your experience and ability to work accurately and quickly is more beneficial.
· A suitable, dedicated place to work at home (private and you won't get interrupted), with natural light, and an excellent broadband connection.
