Full time position on a fixed term contract of 14 months. Office based in central London / flexible working from home
Membership organisation looking to recruit Accounts Assistant starting immediately.
Directly reporting into the Finance Director to assist in preparing journal entries, invoices, and bank reconciliations.
- High volume of purchase invoices input into Sage
- Issuing high volume of Sales invoices and input of online boking income into Sage
- Reconciling Supplier statements
- Bi-monthly supplier payment run
- Paying staff salaries, processing employee expenses
- Processing monthly credit card statements
- Bank reconciliation
- Intercompany Reconciliation
- Credit control
- All of the above across multiple companies and currencies
- Dealing with email/phone queries from suppliers, customers etc.
Requirements:
The Accounts Assistant will have experience in Bookkeeping and strong knowledge of bank reconciliations and raising/processing sales and purchase invoices. As an Accounts Assistant you will have experience using SAGE along with MS Excel skills. Furthermore, you will enjoy working within a team, be organised along with having a proactive attitude, strong communication skills and keen interest to learn and get stuck in!

Salary: £32,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
