Job description
The Accounts Assistant will be assisting the Finance Manager in managing the day to day running of the Derby Distribution Centre's Finance's and provide Financial support to the Management Team.
Accounts Assistant - Derby
Location: JD Sports Warehouse Distribution Centre, Derby DE21 7HW
Hours: 40 hours per week
What you'll be doing:
You'll be responsible for the preparation of annual budgets and monthly reforecasts for Distribution Centres
You'll be analysing and investigating P&L variances and delivering these to the Finance Manager
You will ensure that the Fixed Asset Registers are updated and maintained.
What you will have:
Confidence to build strong working relationships with the central finance team and operational management
You should be studying towards AAT / CIMA / ACCA (Assistance and study support can be provided to continue towards relevant financial qualification)
Analytical, in order to investigate, understand and explain variances and overall business performance
