Job description
Based in Perth since 1995, our small accountancy firm, specialising in retail and small business, is looking to recruit a Full-Time / Part-Time Accounts Assistant who wants to develop their skills and is confident in managing a variety of assignments.
Main responsibilities will involve but not be limited to:
- Preparation of Year End Accounts for limited companies, partnerships, and sole traders.
- Preparation of personal and corporation tax returns.
- Assistance in preparation of VAT Returns.
- Maintaining book-keeping and PAYE records for clients as and when required.
The preferred candidate will have:
- A minimum of 3 years relevant experience of working in a related accounting role.
- High Level of IT skills, with proficiency in the use of Excel, cloud-based book-keeping, and accountancy software packages.
- Excellent communication and people skills.
- Self-motivation and a highly professional approach.
- The ability to work well within a small team.
Salary will be competitive and dependent on level of experience.
Hours available are 16 to 35 hours per week by agreement.
