WE Talent are working with a successful family run business based in a village on the outskirts of Colchester who are recruiting for an Accounts Assistant to join their team.
The company is expanding and looking for someone to join their experienced finance team on a permanent basis. They boast modern premises and a friendly atmosphere within their open plan office.
You will be rewarded with

Responsibilities
- Assisting Sales ledger with producing daily, weekly and monthly invoices
- Reconciling the cash account
- Dealing with client queries
- Raising credit notes
- Processing the month end list
- Assisting Credit control with the credit application forms and checking credit worthiness from top service
- Processing direct debit forms
- Setting customers up on the online portal
- Issuing chase letters
- Running end of day reports
- Reconcile multiple company bank accounts
- Process and post credit card statement
- Processing invoices Managing invoice queries
Requirements
- Previous Accounts Assistant experience (Essential)
- Experience working with Sage Line 50 (desirable)
- Able to work to tight deadlines
- Able to work across multiple accounts
- Experience working within a team
