The Job
We are looking for an Accounts Assistant with some experience but a desire to develop further to join our growing and highly successful tech business and work in a fast paced, exciting environment. This is an excellent opportunity for a finance professional to add value to a fantastic team of people working on a range of projects.
Responsibilities & Skills:
- Sales ledger invoicing, creation of credit notes and ownership of the monthly bill run cycle
- Liaison with the projects team relating to customer billing
- Review and maintain the order book, involving liaising with employees at all levels in the business
- Month end management accounts assistance; accrued and deferred income calculations/working papers
- Provide basic holiday/sickness cover for purchase ledger and credit control roles within the team
- Previous experience in similar role (2yrs+) and AAT qualifications (Level 2 or higher)
Desirable skills (Advantageous but not essential):
- Bank reconciliation
- Non-standard/ad hoc invoicing
- Assisting with audit queries
