We have an exciting opportunity for someone who has provable experience in a finance and accounting environment. We are an ambitious medium sized company well positioned in the heritage sector with several offices across England, looking for someone to join our hard-working Administration team.
Working alongside the Finance team, we are looking for an accounts assistant to provide financial and administrative services to the company. The position is full time, 5 days a week. The role requires someone who is energetic and diligent in their attitude.
Location: London (office based)
Salary: £25-28K per annum (depending on experience)
Duties include:
· Processing sales ledger and purchase ledger invoices
· Processing personal and credit card expenses
· Setting up supplier payments
· Chasing debtors
· Processing weekly wages
· Processing payments and receipts
· Balance sheet reconciliations
· Payroll journals
Desired Skillset:
· Good knowledge and experience of processing Sales and Purchase Ledger invoices
· Double entry bookkeeping
· Good knowledge of Excel – intermediate level
· Credit Control experience (desirable not essential)
