Job description

Due to the expansion of our business, a new and exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented Accounts Assistant.

This role aims to help control and analyse the finances of 'Poke House UK' to ensure smart and healthy growth across our ever-expanding estate.

Working with us at Poke House means you'll be:

  • Managing the external accounts company.
  • Making reconciliations of payments and assets.
  • Responsible for the preparation and closing of monthly and annual financial statements.
  • Responsible for accounting processes and tasks (i.e.: AP process, GL, account reconciliation, etc.)
  • Tracking payments to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Assisting with budgeting and forecasting.
  • Managing all accounting transactions.
  • Report on the company’s financial health and liquidity.
  • Streamlining accounting functions and operations.
  • Manage and track cash flow and treasury.
  • Evaluating and managing risk.
  • Formatting supplier's condition reviews.
  • Track and analyze the company's annual budget.
  • Monitor all income and expenses of the company.

Your experience, skills and qualities will ideally include the following:

  • Master's degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant degree.
  • You have at least 2 years of related experience in Accounting.
  • Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English, the ability to develop, clearly present and draw conclusions.
  • Strong attention to detail, good analytical skills and data-driven.
  • Passion for the Food Tech sector.
