OCL Solicitors is a rapidly expanding law firm dealing largely in Road Traffic Accidents and due to this an excellent opportunity has become available to become a member of the accounts department. This opportunity gives you the chance to work for a specialist personal injury law firm which has great scope for internal progression, multiple staff benefits and the chance to earn additional bonus.
The ideal candidate will do the below:
· processing incoming cheques both on the case management system and the banking system.
· setting up client payments and keeping Clients informed of the progress of their file.
· verifying and setting up payments to third parties.
· chasing payments from insurers.
· ensuring all checks have been completed before file closure.
· closing files once all payments issued.
Previous experience is not essential as full training will be given however a successful candidate must have:
· Ability to learn fast and efficiently in a professional environment
· Ability to manage a large workload
· A high standard of English/grammatical skills
· A high standard of Maths and calculator skills
· A confident phone manner
· Competent IT skills
· Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team
This role will be office based, Monday to Friday between the hours of 9am – 5:30pm with 1 hour for lunch.
Wages are subject to minimum wage however when the ideal candidate passes their probation, they will be reviewed for tiers based on performance.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £13,418.00-£21,000.00 per year
