Job description
We're seeking an experienced and confident Accountant assistant to play a key role in a small and growing finance department . The right candidate will enjoy being part of a friendly, fast-growing, passionate company, and will have the confidence and capability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Reporting directly to the Head of Finance, you will be a highly organised individual with the ability to follow procedure, able to multitask in a busy environment and be an excellent communicator with strong computer literacy and Excel capabilities.
Key responsibilities include:
- Preparing monthly reports
- Inputting all daily monies & credit cards onto appropriate spreadsheet
- Managing customer direct debits and billing process
- Processing supplier invoices with accuracy in a timely manner
- Bank reconciliations
- Point of contact for general finance queries
- Monitoring weekly refunds process alongside the Customer Services team
Skills and experience
- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a fast-growing environment
- Good IT Proficiency (Outlook, Excel, Word,)
- Good attention to detail
- Ability to keep track of a workload
Hours
10am - 2pm
Weekdays.
Job Type: Part-time
Part-time hours: 16/20 per week
Salary: £11.00-£12.00 per hour
