First4Freelancers are an innovative Accountancy and Payroll company seeking an Accounts Assistant to join our team. We are currently going through a period of growth and expansion which means this is an exciting time to join the company as there will be optimum opportunities for career progression and development. Ultimately, you will help our Accounting department run smoothly, ensuring transparency and efficiency in all transactions.
Accounting Assistant responsibilities include:
- Daily Reconciliations on Xero and identify discrepancies
- Daily Invoice processing and billing
- Credit Control
- Dealing with any invoice queries
- Monthly P&L Statements
- Ensuring all documents are complete before payment
- Running depreciation on xero monthly
- Internal payroll and pension
- PAYE Services for clients
- VAT returns for clients
- Basic Administration
- Manual Journals
- Filing documents
- Any ad-hoc duties determined by the operation managers
Experience/Qualities:
- IT literate (proficiency in MS Excel)
- Knowledge of basic bookkeeping procedures
- Familiarity with finance regulations
- Good math skills and the ability to spot numerical errors
- Ability to handle sensitive, confidential information
- Punctual
- Knowledge of the Payroll and accountancy industry
- Experience in a similar role in the payroll and accountancy industry
- Good communication, organisational and analytical skills
- Ability to work to deadlines
- Able to work confidently alone and as a team
- Be commercially aware with total commitment to customer service and development
- Positive mental attitude
- Neat and professional presentation
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: Up to £30,000.00 per year
