Job description
Yard Sale Pizza serve award-winning neighbourhood pizza. We’re a young but growing business currently with 10 sites, offering plenty of career progression for hard working individuals.
We're hiring a highly organised part time kitchen porter who will work in the back of house team, maintaining the BOH kitchen to high standards and supporting the chefs during a busy service. Duties include dish-washing, scraping dough trays, deep cleaning and weekly cleaning tasks. You may also be required to help with prep and running ingredients to the chefs to ensure a smooth and efficient service during peak periods.
You'll be working with a fantastic team in a fun environment, and we believe in a brilliant work/life balance so you won't be working super-late. We're looking for someone who is motivated and a great team player so you must have a positive attitude. We're able to offer a permanent position and we want our team members to grow with us - you'll have the opportunity to progress to a pizza chef role within the first few months.
The ideal candidate will be able to join us and hit the ground running, so you must have experience as a kitchen porter in a busy restaurant environment, as well as good knowledge of food hygiene and health & safety practices. All applicants must be eligible to work in the UK and speak English.

The Location: Walthamstow – set in a beautiful old glass factory – opened in January 2017 and was our first shop with an actual yard (well, we say ‘yard’, its more of a deck!).
Our biggest shop to date, Walthamstow is a real hit E17ers, serving up our infamous pizza for dine-in, takeaway and delivery.
About Us: Yard Sale Pizza fired up the oven in 2014, starting with weekly supper clubs from our backyard in Hackney. We now offer delivery, dine-in and takeaway in 10 of our favourite neighbourhoods. Known for our collaborations, we’ve teamed up with illustrators, musicians, international chefs & local eateries- all on the quest for the perfect pie!
We’ve won London’s most-loved restaurant in Time Out’s 2016 Love London awards, were awarded Best Cheap Eats in the Observer Food Monthly Awards in 2017, and were voted London’s favourite pizza in Time Out’s inaugural Clash of the Slices in 2022.
