Award-winning educational software company, Crick, are looking for a new member of the Finance and Admin team to support the day-to-day processing of transactions and assisting with internal financial information.
All training will be provided, including study support for AAT qualifications. An ideal start for a career in Finance. Tasks include:
- Purchase ledger
- Processing expenses
- Credit control and chasing overdue invoices
- Running customer statements at month end
- Recording cash/bank transactions
- Bank reconciliations
- Posting journals
- Manage customers’ incoming payments accurately and within agreed timescales
- Manage customer accounts queries efficiently, providing an excellent customer experience
- Provide customer statements each month and ensure that any overdue invoices are clearly tagged and chased for payment
- Manage the charge card expenses procedure and complete monthly, ensuring expenses are valid, authorised and analysed correctly
- Deal with purchase invoices passed for authorisation, setting up and managing the payments to ensure efficient payments within payment terms

The successful candidate will be/have:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Good knowledge of Excel
- Strong teamwork skills
- Good attention to detail
- IT competent
- Good commercial, social and communication skills
- A motivated, quick learner with a can-do attitude
- Highly organised and dedicated to their work to ensure all tasks are achieved and deadlines are met.
