Accounts Assistant
An exciting opportunity for someone looking to start a career in accountancy practice. The candidate has a great opportunity to become a key member of a growing business, supporting clients in their journey as you learn and develop yourself and your knowledge along the way. The main roles and responsibilities of the Accounts assistant are but not limited to: Bookkeeping / VAT / Management Accounts Services, payroll etc
This is a full time 35 hours job,
Responsibilities
o Data Entry, sorting of sales / purchase invoices for VAT returns & accounts
o Bank reconciliations (training provided)
o Filing / scanning / photocopying
o Creating new client files and due diligence
o Payroll
o Other administrative tasks as instructed by senior accountants
Skills Required
o Minimum 2 Years Experience is an accountancy practice
o Knowledge of Microsoft office especially advanced Excel (handling large volume of data)
o Experience in moneysoft payroll manager
o Prioritize workloads to meet deadlines
o Can do attitude
o Team Player
o Excellent Communication
o Confidentiality
o Ability to work under own initiative
Qualifications
o Studying towards accountancy qualification is preferable

Salary: From £10.42 per hour
