We are now looking to recruit an Accounts Assistant to join our team!

As an Accounts Assistant you will provide support and assistance to the team. You will provide administration support, responding to all requests as swiftly and efficiently as possible, in accordance with our client promise. You will be required to adapt your working practices to suit each client’s individual needs.
Responsibilities:
- Complete company secretarial duties
- Bookkeeping
- Administration
- General Administration – including data entry and dealing with client queries via email and phone
- To undertake any other duties as requested by your line manager within the scope of the role
- Keep up to date and follow any relevant legislation and/or polices and procedures in line with Bribery, Anti-money Laundering and FSCA requirements
- Adhere to SLA’s as required
- Closures administration
- Company formations
- VAT Returns - calculation and submission
- Bank Reconciliation - reconciling bank transactions in order for accounts to be produced
- Filing of financial statements
- Liaising with HMRC and Companies House
Skills & Experience:
- 9 to 5 / A to C grade (or equivalent) in GCSE English and Mathematics.
- Working towards AAT Level 2/3 and/or minimum one year’s practical experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Accuracy & attention to detail
- Good time management and organisation skills
- Competent in the use of Excel, Word, and E-mail
- Ability to build strong working relationships both internally and externally
- Ability to meet targets under time constraints
