The Company
We have extensive experience delivering food and bar operations at large music festivals, premium events and fixed venues, with crowds spanning from 10,000 to over 100,000 across the UK and Ireland. We are recognised as market leading in creating unique and engaging environments in the most unlikely and challenging of locations. We operate at over 100 events a year, working in close partnership with festival promoters and prestigious sporting venues.
Working Patterns: Monday to Friday 0830-1700
Reports to: Board of Directors / Management Accountant
Duties and Responsibilities:
Duties will include reconciliation work for our Distribution businesses (Banks, Suppliers, Customers, VAT); stock control tasks, input of new suppliers/products onto WMS software; control of debtors and creditors, assisting the Management Accountant with month end pack preparation, support with Government statutory returns and general accounts filing, sales order processing and ad hoc accounts department duties including cover for reception.
The criteria for this role is as below:
- Minimum of two years' experience in a similar role;
- strong organisational skills;
- confident communication skills;
- you will be highly motivated and detail orientated;
- able to demonstrate a high level of accuracy and analytical ability;
- competent in the use of various IT packages including Microsoft Excel and preferably Xero Accounting Software and Unleashed;
- ideally experience in stock control;
- you will be a team player but with the ability to work independently;
- you will have bookkeeping/accounts admin knowledge and experience;
- an accounts qualification or working towards an accounts qualification would be desirable;
- preferably 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £22,000.00-£24,000.00 per year
