Job description
Heggerty is seeking an Accounting Manager to lead the overall management and supervision of the accounting department. Reporting to the Financial Controller, this role will oversee the work of team members, prepare and view financial statements, and develop and implement departmental policies and procedures.

Responsibilities
- Lead the month end close process to ensure timely and accurate monthly financial reporting
- Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies and principles
- Lead and complete the annual audit
- Improve systems and procedures and initiate corrective actions
- Assign projects and direct staff to ensure compliance and accuracy
Requirements
- Curiosity, empathy, and a passion for our mission
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
- Minimum 5-6 year experience of progressive Accounting experience with at least 2 years of management experience
- CPA, CMA, or MBA (preferred)
- Experience with Microsoft Business Central (preferred)
