WANHub is a hub and spoke transportation solution for regulated products, delivering cross-dock warehousing and temperature-controlled trucking 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

WHAT YOU’LL DO
The Accountant will support the CFO through performing various accounting functions such as preparing financial reports, reconciling balance sheet accounts, supporting month-end close entries and posting them to the general ledger, performing variance financial analysis, and other duties as assigned.
Essential Functions
- Assist with reconciling accounts within the accounting system for ex.; loans, payable, fixed assets as well as others as needed.
- Record deposits received into accounting system.
- Check corporate email accounts and download/disseminate respective information.
- Assist in year-end data gathering for external accounting firm preparation of consolidated financial statements and tax returns.
- Cross trained in all duties for the Accounting Associate position and the Senior Accounts Receivable position
- Ensure that invoices are recorded correctly, and to the correct location
- Ensure that bills are recorded correctly, and to the correct location
- Other projects as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business or equivalent experience.
- 3-5 Years of accounting experience in multi-unit complex organization
- Experience in the shipping, logistics or warehouse industry preferred, but not required
- Experience with QuickBooks and NetSuite preferred, but not required
