An exciting career opportunity for a talented Accountant located in Corner Brook, NL is now available. Working as part of our Corporate Accounting team you will provide a full range of services to our global operations.

As Accountant, you will:

• Complete of month end procedures for multiple companies/regions including accruing AP/AR invoices, key month-end adjustments and prepare intercompany billings.
• Prepare monthly account reconciliations.
• Analyze financial data and provide insights and recommendations.
• Process customer billings (sales ordering to invoicing).
• Support the software ordering process by processing orders in an accurate and timely fashion.
• Process vendor invoices in a timely manner, verifying accuracy, approvals, and account coding in accordance with company policy.
• Interact with clients, vendors, partners, and other key stakeholders to execute in an array of functional areas within accounting department.
• Incoming and outgoing payment processing (cheques, wires, credit cards).
• Process employee expenses claims in accordance with company policy.
• Support the accounting helpdesk inbox; respond to customer and vendor inquiries as required within established guidelines.
• Conduct ad hoc financial analysis as needed.

Excited to face any new challenge, you will bring to this position the following skills and qualifications:

• Post-secondary business degree or diploma in accounting.
• A minimum of 3 years of accounting experience.
• Enrollment in the CPA program, or other professional accounting designation program, is considered an asset/
• Intermediate skills using Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with SAP Business One, or another ERP system, is considered an asset.
• Experience in information technology or professional service sectors is an asset.
• Experience in annual software maintenance is an asset.
• Experience in a fast paced, high-volume environment.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, capable of professional interaction with various levels of operations and management.
• Strong analytical skills and initiative to solve problems.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Works well under pressure with multiple concurrent deadlines.
