Responsibilities:
To assist the finance manager in managing the financial operations of Tri-Wall North East, West Midlands and Manchester.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
Sales Ledger
- Providing transactional sales ledger support as required.
Purchase Ledger
- Provide transactional purchase ledger support as required.
- Ownership of the account’s inbox.
- Generate supplier payment runs and ensure accuracy of supplier balances through reconciliation to supplier statements.
Month end reporting
- Assist in production of monthly management accounts.
- Daily reconciliation of bank accounts.
- Ensure integrity of balance sheet accounts through reconciliation and production of supporting schedules.
General Finance
- Assist in annual and quarterly budgeting and forecasting.
- Assist External & Internal Auditors as required.
- Assist in calculating the quarterly VAT return.
- Other ad hoc duties as they arise.
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- Experience within a finance team (ideally within a manufacturing environment)
- Part qualified accountant or qualified by experience with strong appreciation of technical accounting requirements.
- Intermediate (or above) Excel and experience of accounting systems.
- Excellent time management skills, attention to detail, and ability to work to strict deadlines.

Salary: £25,000.00-£28,000.00 per year

- accounting: 3 years (required)
