The Fox Theatre in Atlanta is seeking a qualified candidate for the position of Accounts Payable General Accountant.
Major Responsibilities:
- AP Processing and Vendor research;
- New Vendor verification and EFT set-up;
- Journal Entries and Account Reconciliation;
- Central Purchasing;
- Vendor 1099 Reporting Process;
- Inventory Cash Disbursement;
- Other duties as assigned.
- 3 years General Accounting experience;
- Accounts Payable experience;
- Solid understanding of Debits and Credits;
- Solid understanding of Accounting Principles;
- Microsoft Word and Excel.
- 5 Years AP & GL Experience;
- Sage/MIP experience a plus.
- Located in comfortable indoor area. Conditions produce mild discomfort on occasion, e.g., dust, moderate noise.
- Frequent periods are spent standing or sitting in the same location with some opportunity to move about. Occasionally required to stoop or lift light materials or equipment.
- Successful applicants must be able to pass a post-offer, pre-screening and background check.

About the Marquee Club Presented by Lexus
The Marquee Club Presented by Lexus is the Fox Theatre’s premium club space open to Club Level seat holders or annual Members only. Adjacent to the theatre, the Moroccan and Middle Eastern-style club is 10,000 square feet of luxury space that includes five premium bars; three rooftop environments, including the climate-controlled Conservatory, patio covered Arcade Terrace and the outdoor Rooftop Terrace. Open only during public events at the Fox Theatre, the Marquee Club offers a premium pre-show through post-show experience with benefits including early entry, private restrooms, 2 alcoholic beverages per event, pre-show food, onsite activations during select events, and more. Additional amenities include priority pre-sale ticketing notifications, concierge guest services and self-parking access to an adjacent lot for some membership levels.
