We are currently looking for a Finance Intern in our Toronto, Ontario office. As a member of a collaborative team, the individual in this role will be an integral member of the Finance team within the GTS Urban Rail Signaling business line. The intern will be involved in many aspects of the fiscal lifecycle – This internship will last for 4 months from September to December
Key Accountabilities:
- Working with the Project finance team as well as Financial reporting analyst to:
- Monitor, collect, analyze, disseminate & report on Financial information,
- Create new databases / reports
- Be involved in transformation initiatives and preparation of information to support new group reporting
- Work on services reporting and potential harmonization / consolidation with US and Canada business
- Support for annual budget preparation of cost centers and projects
- Bid costing support and/or internal project reporting
Required Requirements:
- University student in a business degree program with interest in finance and accounting
- Business financial analytics, experience working with financial reporting tools
- Strong experience working with MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Energetic and motivated to learn and grow
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with attention to detail
- Desire to work in a company with a team-based approach and culture of excellence
