What does our ideal candidate look like?
- Reliable, organized, and self-motivated with solid technical skills
- Is able to work independantly as well as part of a team
- A secondary school diploma, as well as the successful completion of bookkeeping or accounting courses, along with several years of financial or accounting clerk experience (including accounts payable)
- Proficient with QuickBooks Desktop, Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
Reporting to the controller, the successful candidate will use their strong organizational and technical skills to manage the day-to-day activities of this role. This will include but not limited to:
- Reviewing, verifying, and inputting vendor invoices
- Processing and reconciling payments
- Liaising with vendors ensuring accounts are accurate
- Credit card reconcilations
- Posting journal entries and reconciling accounts
- Assisting with customer invoicing, and payroll
This role will also involve working collaboratively with our Retail Manager and Warehouse Supervisor with ordering, receiving, and entering products into our inventory system and tracking its integrity.

Salary: $23.00-$27.00 per hour
