SF Recruitment are currently working with a fantastic, fast paced organisation who are looking to on board an technically strong and versatile Financial Accountant. This is on an interim basis, initially lasting for around 6 months. This role requires an adaptable individual with strong fundamentals but also a proactive mindset to a add value. This position requires a qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/ACMA).

Key tasks:

• Robustly review individual entities results, understand and challenge local Managers / MD's and provide a high-level service offering and to understand local requirements and plan for potential

future issues.

• Create, produce, manage and report upon relevant and meaningful KPI's
• Manage the month end process to ensure all entities are submitting reports to agreed time frames
• Engage, motivate and manage the groups management accountants (5 staff)
• Establish and ensure team is working to set corporate objectives by way of regular review
• Provide Financial Accounting assistance to UK & International entities
• Consolidate group companies results and prepare consolidated group accounts to set deadlines
• Review month end management accounting journals
• Ensure accuracy of entity level balance sheets through monthly reconciliations
• Assist with the annual External Audit and Internal audit as required
• Assist in the production of the annual statutory accounts and annual report
• Be aware of changing financial standards and how these may impact the Group Companies
• Ensure compliance from a legal and statutory perspective for all international entities
• Review and assess cashflow requirements on a monthly basis
