CONTROLLER/ ACCOUNTING MANAGER

Developer seeks a dedicated, responsible, enthusiastic and challenge-seeking individual to join our established, fast-paced General Contractor industrial, residential, commercial real estate development and property management, real estate portfolio located in Michigan and Florida. Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, CPA or candidate a plus
Must have past experience in:
· Accounting - designing and implementing "best practices" policies and procedures for accounting, reporting, bookkeeping, and billing functions
· Property Management
· Real Estate Development
· Handling multiple entities
· We are willing to train the right candidate
Responsible for:
· Managing the process and assembling all the necessary data and information
· General Ledger, Financial Statement, Cash Management, Payroll and tax Returns
· Accounts Payable
· Budgeting and Job Costing processes
· Rent collections, Lease drafting
· Common Area Maintenance Reconciliation
Skills and Abilities
· Proficient in MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, and Excel).
· Communicate verbally and in writing in a professional manner.
· Service, detail, and multi-task oriented
· Problem solving skills
· Excellent communication & relationship building skills
· Sage 300 Construction Real Estate Software Formerly Timberline/experience a plus
· TimberScan "paperless" Accounts payable software
