The salary range for this position is $55k-$60k annually
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Verify the timely distribution of Personal Allowance funds.
- Post all cash expenses incurred with the individual’s funds in FEZ.
- Verify the presence of receipts for purchases made with individual’s funds.
- Post related cash benefits, (Personal and Clothing allowance, Social Security benefits, other).
- Verify accuracy of entries made by house staff to the individual’s General Ledger.
- Prepare bank reconciliation on all bank accounts held for the benefit of individuals living in the residence.
- Prepare and post adjusting journal entries to record monthly bank fees and other charges.
- Prepare and process individuals Representative Payee reports as needed.
- Monitor daily cash balances related to the individuals bank accounts.
- Monitor daily cash balances related to the debit card account used by the residence.
- Analyze GL income and expense accounts seeking out of the ordinary transactions.
- Generate cash requirement report to replenish In-House Cash account.
- Conduct un-announced audit in coordination with the QA Department.
- Conduct a verification of purchases as part of the audit process.
- Prepare audit report stating findings and recommendations.
- Oversee the day to day AR process.
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors and/or senior management.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or 3-5 years experience in the field.
- Computer knowledge in MS Excel, Word, Fund EZ and Salesforce.
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced professional office environment.
- Highly organized and strong attention to detail.
