Job description
The primary function of this role is to act as a liaison between the supply chain/inventory management team and the inventory accounting team. This role is responsible for the handling and executing of inventory transactions in close cooperation with our Supply Chain and Accounting teams by performing timely and accurate functions that assist in the Accounting and Supply Chain department controls.
Essential Responsibilities and Job Duties
Process material transfers in a timely and accurate manner within the OGSYS ERP system
Ensure material transfer documentation is complete and accurate
Assist in year-end counts of storage facilities and reconciliation of inventory
Assist Supply Chain post-well reconciliations to verify correct items have been issued to and returned from project in OGSYS
Assist accounting, as needed, with joint venture audit requests or when questions arise on inventory transactions
Maintain positive relationships with internal and external suppliers to ensure inventory needs are met
Handle other projects, duties and responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications and Education Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in industrial distribution, supply chain and inventory or accounting. Relevant experience can compensate for required formal education
3-6 years’ experience within and E&P operator’s supply chain function. Experience at a large pipe yard or other oil and gas materials supply company may substitute for E&P operator’s experience
ERP system understanding – preferably OGSYS Inventory Module experience
Understanding of COPAS guidelines preferred
Intermediate proficiency with MS Office suite in Excel, Word, & Power Point
Must be detail oriented, thorough, organized, and efficient

Travel Requirements
Position requires approximately 5%-10% domestic travel
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions
Must possess mobility to work in a standard office setting and to use standard office equipment (computer, printer, copier, etc.) stamina to maintain attention to detail despite interruptions, strength to lift and carry files weighing up to 25 pounds; vision to read printed materials and a computer screen, and hearing and speech to communicate in person and over the telephone
