About Our Client

The client are leading international Architecture firm currently rapidly growing their UK based operations. This is an exciting opportunity for a Part-qualified Accountant to take a prominent role within the business and develop as the company grows.

This role is a hybrid role with 4 days a week based from their City of London office.

Job Description

The Accountant will be responsible for the following:

• Maintain accounting records for Purchases and Accounts Payable

• Maintain accounting records for Sales & Accounts Receivable

• Process company expenses

• Post monthly payroll journals

• Accruals and prepayments

• Project accounting

• Balance sheet reconciliations

• Processing VAT returns

• Submit monthly CIS returns

The Successful Applicant

The successful Accountant:

• ACCA/CIMA Part-qualified

• Previous experience working in architecture, construction or professional services (preferred)

• Cost analysis experience

• Previous budgeting and forecasting experience

• Previous experience using Xero accounting software

• High level of competence on Excel

• Previous experience preparing monthly management information and annual financial statements
