Responsibilities of the Assistant Accountant
- Posting sales and purchase ledger invoices
- Bank reconciliations
- Credit control
- Cash allocations
- Expenses
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Processing journals
The Successful Applicant
The successful Assistant Accountant
- Have a base accounting degree
- Currently studying towards CIMA, ACCA or equivalent qualification
- Have previous accounting experience and exposure to month end, working within a corporate environment
- Possess strong excel skills including vlookups, pivot table and macros
