Responsibilities of the Assistant Accountant

  • Posting sales and purchase ledger invoices
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Credit control
  • Cash allocations
  • Expenses
  • Balance sheet reconciliations
  • Processing journals

The Successful Applicant

The successful Assistant Accountant

  • Have a base accounting degree
  • Currently studying towards CIMA, ACCA or equivalent qualification
  • Have previous accounting experience and exposure to month end, working within a corporate environment
  • Possess strong excel skills including vlookups, pivot table and macros
