Job Description
Assistant Accountant (hybrid) duties:
- A small amount of transactional duties across both the sales and purchase ledger (processing invoices etc.)
- Quarterly VAT returns
- Assisting with audit
- Month end closure (bank reconciliations, journals, accruals, prepayments etc.)
- Trial balance sheet
- Ad-hoc duties
The Successful Applicant
Assistant Accountant (hybrid) criteria:
- Previous experience in an educational establishment would be ideal but NOT essential
- Finance experience in a similar role
- Intermediate Excel skills (vlookups, pivots, formulas etc.)
- Ability to communicate with the wider team
- Commutable distance to Bristol 1/2 x a week
