We are looking for an Accountant to support our business growth in Toronto. This is a full-time position.

How you will contribute:
- Establish, maintain and oversee accounting procedures and processes.
- Develop and maintain financial systems for businesses.
- Prepare financial statements for internal and external requirements.
- Prepare financial analysis. Advise senior leadership team based on financial data.
- Determine cost-effective alternatives for current and future projects
- Prepare and propose budgets.
- Compile and present financial forecasts.
- Oversee financial management of multiple projects. Analyze project performance and ROI.
- Propose, develop, and implement company-wide plans to lower costs.
- Analyze financial risks and advise plans to reduce risks.
- Coordinate internally and externally to support auditing.
- Complete tax-related analysis and reporting.
- Identify areas of improvement. Contribute ideas and suggestions.
- Perform other duties as required.
What you bring to the table:
- Completion of post-secondary degree in business/accounting.
- Minimum of 1-3 years experience as a full cycle accountant
- Solid understanding of accounting principles, best practices, standards, and regulations.
- Experience with accounting software, any experience with Sage or Oracle is an asset
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel)
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to identify key trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Strong communication skills and people management skills.
