This is a position that allows an experienced accountant to acquire operational and leadership experience whilst managing our busy client onboarding department. We see this as position that will prepare a high-performing senior Accountant for a role in team management.
Responsibilities include but aren’t limited too:
- Completing detailed KYC and Bookkeeping Strategy calls with new clients
- Identify changes in service or potential complexities in bookkeeping
- Supporting a team of Accountants to onboard a client on to our service within KPIs
- Training, coaching and mentoring apprentices and Junior Accountants
- Quality control and file reviews of onboarding team
The ideal Senior Accountant will have the following experience/ skills:
- Due to the level of this role it is essential that you have experience within an accountancy practice
- Qualified accountant (ACCA/ATT/ACA) or equivalent commercial experience
- An ability to prepare accounts, VAT returns, corporation tax and SATR
- An ability to speak with a client and understand their accountancy needs
