About the Role
Fendercare is in the process of rolling out Netsuite across its global operations. A need for a Systems Accountant has been identified to support and improve the quality, timeliness, accuracy and consistency of Fendercare’s Accounting, Financial Reporting and Control (‘AFRC’) environments within Netsuite.
The role will be predominantly remote with periodic requirements to visit various sites for teamworking to design, develop and implement the agreed system developments.
- Assessing the current AFRC processes alongside the Group Financial Controller and Head of FP&A to identify and agree the priority areas for improvement, including effective remediation of audit findings and development of the action plans to support.
- To work seamlessly with Finance, Systems, and 3rd party support providers to align and prioritise such plans for developing Netsuite to deliver the agreed AFRC improvement objectives.
- Ensure that any agreed improvement activities are effectively documented and scoped, including the development of action plans collaboratively with key stakeholders.
- Regularly reviewing the agreed action plans to ensure plans remain on track or to ensure timely communication of off-track issues with agreed recovery plans if necessary.
- Development of a suite of controlled and standardized monthly financial reports, reconciliations and KPIs that run natively from Netsuite that can be either distributed directly or extracted into Excel and Cognos for local and/or group consolidation.
- Working with the business to ensure the amount of ‘offline’ process is reduced to the minimum practicable to ensure the investment in Netsuite is maximized.
- Supporting the training of Sales, Operations and Finance teams including testing support and write up of user manuals to ensure agreed developments are effectively embedded and rolled out.
- To stay abreast of further Netsuite development and identify opportunities for improving our Netsuite deployment and to find fitting integrated automation tools.
- Any other ad hoc responsibilities as required from time to time.

- A highly personable individual with excellent relationship building and communication skills.
- A detailed technical understanding of Netsuite and its reporting and workflow capabilities.
- High attention to detail to ensure the quality of the output aligns to the agreed objectives
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA or internationally recognised equivalent with minimum 3 years Post Qualification Experience.
- Extensive experience of using Netsuite as an Advanced user.
- Listed company experience including multi-company and multi-currency exposure including extracting information into a central group reporting system such as Cognos or Hyperion will be highly advantageous.
- Advanced Excel / MS Office user.
