Job description
We are growing the accounting function and looking for someone with a head for numbers, loves the details, figures out how to get things done without a lot of instruction and has a positive approach. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records for our manufacturing operations, handle day to day HR functions and help process our weekly payroll. They also help our team stay organized and interact with our partners, customers, visitors, and employees. The ideal candidate is skilled in managing a growing manufacturing company's office needs with heavy emphasis on bookkeeping using QuickBooks Enterprise. Ideal for someone with a few years of experience in accounting and HR.
Accounting activities will include accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, reconciliations, vendor relations, customer relations, collections, inventory management, journal entries and monthly close.
HR activities includes everything from welcoming and setting up new employees, responding to unemployment notices, managing the benefit package, ensuring time entry is correct, and answering questions.
Key Responsibilities:
● Manage daily updates to accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll
● Welcome new employees overseeing the onboarding and entry into the HR system
● Complete daily, weekly and monthly reports
● Responsible for invoicing, and payment of all bills
● Manage the weekly payroll using the Insperity payroll system
● Locate, arrange for, and engage service providers for different tasks
● File worker's compensation claims, as required.
● Complete insurance enrollment forms for medical coverage when required.
● Understand and assist with unemployment filings, disability filings, benefits documentation.
● Provide Human Resource support and documentation (recruiting, documentation and handling of personnel issues).
● Develop and Maintain documents and procedures for accounting and HR processes
● Provide feedback to meet financial, quality and customer service goals
● Prepare various city, state and federal filings as required (sales tax, registrations/renewals, licenses).
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
