Innocept is looking for a savvy Accounting Clerk to support our highly productive real estate team.
This position is part time with availability needed to work out of our Calgary office. For the right candidate, this position will likely move to a full-time accounting role at Innocept.

THE ACCOUNTABILITIES
The primary purpose of this position is to support our Corporate Accountant as an extension of Innocept’s Accounting Team. You will be responsible for timely and accurate execution and reporting of accounting receipts and payments.
This will involve the following areas:
- Execute the Innocept accounts receivable and accounts payable processes
- Receipt Management (hardcopy and digital through Dext)
- Receiving, documenting and processing monthly expenses
- Reconciling monthly expenses with Quickbooks
- Communications with Innocept People for approvals and expense allocations
- Verifying and cross-referencing appropriate cost codes
- Cash management support
YOUR SKILLS INCLUDE
- At least 1 year of experience in an AP/AR role
- Knowledge and understanding or experience with Quickbooks Online
- A high degree of integrity, discretion, and confidentiality
- Comfort with clerical practices and business management principles
- Hard-working, disciplined, and organized while maintaining a high attention to detail
- Able to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Time management, prioritizing, and multi-tasking strengths
- Able to identify issues and problem-solve strategically in a timely manner

Bonus Qualifications
- Knowledge and experience with real estate and construction accounting procedures and practices would be an asset
- Knowledge of and proficiency in various related applications such as but not limited to: Paymo, DEXT, and Microsoft Office 365 would be an asset
- Professional experience with online banking; including PAD, direct deposit
Job Type: Part-time
Part-time hours: 20-27 per week
Salary: $25.00 per hour
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends
